Dr. Suzanne Lee is a board certified ophthalmologist and has had an ophthalmology practice in Highland Indiana since 1985 before joining Munster Eye Care Associates in 2011.
Dr. Lee graduated with Phi Beta Kappa and Summa Cum Laude from Washington University in St. Louis in 1977 and obtained MD degree from the School of Medicine at Washington University with Alpha Omega Alpha honors in 1981. She did an internal medicine internship at Loyola University Medical Center before completing the Ophthalmology residency at the University of Illinois Eye Center in Chicago in 1985.
Dr. Lee is a comprehensive eye physician and surgeon treating all aspects of eye diseases and surgery including no stitch cataract surgery and lens implant, glaucoma care, diabetic eye exam and eye exams for glasses and contact lenses. She welcomes new patients although she most enjoys seeing her long time patients from throughout northwest Indiana and Illinois.
Born in Seoul, Korea, she immigrated to the United States with her family in 1971 and speaks fluent Korean as well as English. She has been a long time resident of Schererville, Indiana.
Dr. Lee is on staff at St. Margaret Mercy Healthcare Center in Hammond and Dyer, Indiana as well as the Community Hospital of Munster, Indiana. She is a fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and American Board of Ophthalmology.
