Dr. Natalia A. Chramiec, OD, FAAO is a dedicated optometrist who has a passion for patient-centered eye care and advanced vision correction. A lifelong Chicagoan, she grew up on the southwest side of Chicago, Illinois, and has deep roots in the local community. Dr. Chramiec pursued her undergraduate and doctorate degrees in her hometown, shaping her academic and professional journey in the heart of the city.
She began her education at the Illinois Institute of Technology, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology in 2019. With a strong foundation in the sciences, Dr. Chramiec continued her studies at the prestigious Illinois College of Optometry, earning her Doctorate of Optometry in 2022. Her commitment to furthering her expertise led her to complete a specialized residency program in low vision rehabilitation, specialty contact lenses, and ocular disease at the Jesse Brown VA Medical Center and Edward Hines Jr. VA Hospital in Chicago.
Throughout her residency, Dr. Chramiec gained advanced training in treating complex eye conditions, with a focus on helping patients with low vision, fitting specialty contact lenses for a variety of corneal conditions, and managing ocular diseases. Her experience working with veterans in a clinical setting provided her with invaluable skills in comprehensive eye care, making her adept at diagnosing and treating a wide range of visual impairments.
Since joining Munster Eye Care Associates, P.C., Dr. Chramiec has brought her expertise and compassionate approach to patients in Northwest Indiana. She is passionate about helping individuals improve their quality of life through tailored vision care, from routine eye exams to specialized treatment for complex conditions. Her clinical interests include advanced contact lens fittings and providing solutions for patients with unique visual needs.
